Stand Mixer Cover

A days work...

I made this skirt last night using this tutorial -
Jeans to Skirt
Faith is modeling with a bit of attitude and the neat little bandana thing i made her, also using an online tutorial from Sewing Mamas (see side bar for link). The bandana is actually like a headband w/ elastic in the back to hold it on, pretty neat, no tying.

Part of Faith's birthday - I made her a matching circle skirt and tank top, plus matching underwear since we all know she's gonna show everyone anyway, might as well match right!


This is a birthday present for one of Faith's little friends.

Owl Dress & Panties

After getting settled in from camping yesterday i cut out a special dress for Faith. Today is a cemetary burial and a get together with John's family after. I love that I can sit down and create something special in one night. It's so cute, the pictures don't do it justice. I made her a matching pair of panties too, though they didn't come out very well, my serger started acting up when i was making them :(

The cutest boy set i've EVER made...

We have a birthday party today for our very special little friend. It was last minute so last night i cut out this "muscle" shirt and unders for him. Started sewing last night and finished up this morning. I am totally IN LOVE with this set, it's so super cute. And i can really see how far i've come with my sewing skills. Notice the nice hem using my new coverstitcher, still not perfect for sure but getting better and better.

Camping shirts & nightgown

I made a 3T raglan style shirt for Faith.

Plus 2 other ones, a 3T raglan style with brown sleeves and a 2T regular long sleeve tee with brown sleeves for Faith's little friends G & B who will be going camping with us our first time.

Also here is Faith's camping nightgown, which is my favorite, came out super cute.

Don't mind the crazy messy hair and dirty face, i made her slip it on to try and she ran upstairs on me, little stinker...LOL

I finally finished the sushi quilt...

this is a wedding gift for my cousin who got married in October (oops). The main fabric is a sushi print, she and her hubby meant at a sushi restaurant and it was my inspiration to make them something that would be meaningful.

Reverse Applique Heart Raglan Shirt


And my favorite is a knotted hoodie dress in this adorable puppy print, Faith was less than thrilled about being my model.




And finally a couple nightgowns for a custom job. I really need to get a mannaquin or at least some better way to display stuff for photos.
