A days work...

I made this skirt last night using this tutorial -

Faith is modeling with a bit of attitude and the neat little bandana thing i made her, also using an online tutorial from Sewing Mamas (see side bar for link). The bandana is actually like a headband w/ elastic in the back to hold it on, pretty neat, no tying.

Part of Faith's birthday - I made her a matching circle skirt and tank top, plus matching underwear since we all know she's gonna show everyone anyway, might as well match right!


This is a birthday present for one of Faith's little friends.

Owl Dress & Panties

After getting settled in from camping yesterday i cut out a special dress for Faith. Today is a cemetary burial and a get together with John's family after. I love that I can sit down and create something special in one night. It's so cute, the pictures don't do it justice. I made her a matching pair of panties too, though they didn't come out very well, my serger started acting up when i was making them :(

The cutest boy set i've EVER made...

We have a birthday party today for our very special little friend. It was last minute so last night i cut out this "muscle" shirt and unders for him. Started sewing last night and finished up this morning. I am totally IN LOVE with this set, it's so super cute. And i can really see how far i've come with my sewing skills. Notice the nice hem using my new coverstitcher, still not perfect for sure but getting better and better.
